Yesterday is history but what tomorrow brings might be a mystery.
In the midst of the throbbing footsteps of my people marching to different places to secure the paper.
I stood before what used to be the pride of Bophuthatswana.
A place where heroes were born and bred.
Where unity, respect and love were once a daily bread.
Where preachers preached  precious words.
A place that was once a heart of the entertainment industry.
Where cleanliness was said to be next to Godliness.

Yesterday is history but today is what we live in.
Today might be a day of misery.
As I see what used to be the capital town, slowly crawling to be a ghost town.
It hurts to stand before the remaining ruins of what has become a shadow of a beautiful place.
Where today, every corner is murdered by tons of garbage.
Trash scattered everywhere it has become our footprint.
As plastics, glass and cans scream for help to pedestrians.

Today is what we live in but what tomorrow brings might be a mystery.
Tomorrow, the dirt of the city of goodwill will never scream out to bypassers; for attention and long lasting impression.
The scared walls of ga MmaMosetsanyana will smile with pride and joy to the world for there’ll be no scars across them.
The bleeding veins of Mahika will be well taken care of, for they’ll carry clean, pure waters to my people.
The gashes found on the roads of Lehika will heal.
